Al Ghurair is one of the UAE’s most established family groups, operating across multiple sectors; manufacturing, real estate, education and philanthropy. Following a major rebrand, the group needed a corporate website that could clearly reflect its renewed strategic direction and provide a strong foundation for future growth.
With multiple subsidiaries, each led by its own CEO, the organisation needed a corporate digital presence that could align diverse priorities without diluting the overarching group story.
The brief went beyond design. It required bringing senior stakeholders together around a shared narrative, and delivering a site that could clearly communicate a complex business while supporting the group’s scale, complexity and long-term ambition.
Stakeholder engagement revealed that the organisation’s structure and expectations were more complex than they first appeared. Each business had distinct requirements for how it wanted to be represented online.
The key insight was that the corporate website needed to do more than serve as a storytelling platform. It had to act as a blueprint for digital consistency, setting a clear standard that individual business units could follow with confidence.
